Cancellation Policy for private customers/consumers
Right of Withdrawal
Private customers (consumers) have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days without reason.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which the consumer or a third-party on their behalf (other than the transport service operator) acquire possession of the ordered goods.
To exercise the right to withdraw from the contract (cancellation), the private customer must inform us in text-form (e.g. letter, fax, email). Alternatively, the use of the below cancellation form or the online-form (Cancellation) located at the bottom of our website can be used. Neither of these forms are however mandatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication showing your wish to exercise the right to cancel before the 14-day period has expired.
The right to cancel does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods produced according to customer specifications or clearly tailored to customer's needs or which, by reason of their quality and constitution, are not suitable for return.
What happens after the Cancellation?
Upon cancelling the contract, we will refund all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from the contract.
We will process the refund by using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees/charges from us as a result of the reimbursement.
We will withhold the refund until we have received the goods for inspection.
It is the responsibility of the private customer/consumer to send back the goods or hand them to us, without delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which the cancellation has been communicated to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
The private customer/consumer returns the goods at their own risk and expense, unless stated otherwise by us.
Items that can be returned by parcel service/post are to be returned in this manner. Items that cannot be shipped by parcel service/post will be collected by us. The private customer/consumer bears the cost of the return shipment or collection.
The private customer/consumer is only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
We recommend to use the cancellation-form available online but you can also forward your cancellation in writing by post, email or fax.
