URIMAT Universal Trap

The URIMAT Universal Trap is suitable for Armitage Shanks Aridian and Falcon waterless urinal bowls and is used instead of the Falcon waterless urinal cartridge. The URIMAT Universal Trap is also suitable for Sloan waterless urinals with an insert diameter of 118mm, enabling cost-efficient and hygenic waterless urinals operation with the benefits of a URIMAT waterless urinal.

Align Urinal Operational Costs to Urinal Use

The integrated (blue) MB-Active Cube of the URIMAT Universal Trap reduces organic deposits within the odour trap and wastepipe. It also serves as a lifecycle-indicator to allow changing of the trap according to individual urinal use. 

Beneath the partially transparent cover of the URIMAT Universal Trap the blue microbiological cube remains visible until fully depleted, signalling the required trap change. This allows the cleaning contractor or maintenance staff to continuosly monitor the lifespan of the URIMAT Universal Trap and to ensure replacement traps are available in time for the designated change. 

While the newer Falcon Velocity Cartridge provides at least some indication when immediate renewal is required, it does not indicate remaining lifespan. The previous Legacy cartridge from Falcon as well as the Sloan waterless urinal cartidge provide no indication at all relating to lifespan. 

The slowly dissolving blue microbiological cube within the URIMAT Universal Trap is continuosly visible, serving as a lifecycle-indicator to enable usage-related trap changes and an improved maintenance planning schedule.

In addition, the URIMAT Universal Trap can be inserted for low, medium and high-urinal use (URIMAT patented 3-way control).

Vertical Membrane Technology

The vertically sealing membrane within the URIMAT Universal Trap is pressure-resistant.

The liquid odour barrier (sealant liquid) of the Falcon cartridge can be depleted due to varying pressure levels (e.g. vacuum) within the wastepipe network. This does not happen with the URIMAT vertical membrane.

The liquid odour barrier (sealant liquid) of the Falcon cartridge may also require replenishment, when water is accidentally flushed down the waterless urinal. Should this occur with the URIMAT Universal Trap, the vertical membrane within the trap will continue to function and provide full protection against wastepipe odours.

Easy Maintenance

Changing the URIMAT Universal Trap is easier and quicker than replacing the Falcon waterless urinal cartridge; no sealant liquid required.

Simply remove the used trap and rinse the wastepipe with a bucket of cold water before re-inserting the new trap! (see trap change instructions)
