Pumps for Rainwater Harvesting Systems

EBARA MULTIGO and EBARA IDROGO vertical multistage pumps are a high quality stainless-steel pump range used for domestic, agricultural and commercial water supply from wells & cistern tanks.

Installed as a submersible pump within the rainwater storage tank, the EBARA Multigo & EBARA Idrogo submersible rainwater pumps provide water supply to header-tank installations (indirect gravity-based systems) as well as to direct-pressurised applications.

Multigo

The EBARA Multigo pump is equipped with a 1¼“(FT) pump in-take in order to connect a floating suction filter to extract rainwater from the middle part of the rainwater column, where the cleanest water lies. 

Idrogo

The EBARA Idrogo pump is equipped with a stainless-steel sieve in-take for clear water with solids up to 2.5mm in diameter. 

Both the Multigo & Idrogo rainwater pumps have a 1¼“(FT) pump discharge.

An (external) non-return valve on the pump discharge or discharge pipe within the rainwater tank is to be included during installation to prevent a backflow of water after the pumping cycle has ceased.

Centrifugal Suction Pumps

Self-priming centrifugal suction pumps such as the EBARA JES-JE & EBARA JESX-JEX are located in close proximity to but outside of the rainwater tank.
 

Rainwater Pump Operation

For automatic pressurised water supply and dry-run protection an additional external Pressure Switch / Pump Controller is required.
Pump motor-protection is included when operating the pump via a Control Panel.
